The winners have been choosen. Check here for the winners!! Phylm, pronounced "film," is the melding of "physics" and "film." The Phylm Prize is an award aimed at spurring interest in physics and the educational use of new media. This year's winner will receive a check for $100 (US) to be dispersed in September 2009. All submissions and voting will end on September 1, 2009. Anyone can enter (where legal), and anyone can vote. However, as a former physics teacher, I'd really love to see entries from students and educators. For the official rules on a one-page handout, click here.
To vote, just click the thumbs up or thumbs down icons found above each entry. To submit an entry, click on Submit Entry above, and follow the instructions.
Note: Only videos submitted after July 1, 2008 are eligible for this year's prize. Older video's were part of last year's competition.
