Explain to me why a divorced single mother working two jobs to save the house her kids grew up in, has not yet received any help except 16 a week in paycheck back in April?
I make 50K that is not enough to support a household and a 1200/month mortgage and have decent healthcare. Do I have to lose everything for assistance?

I have been in your corner since the very beginning. I cheered and cried at your win and inaugural! How wonderful!

I am a 59 year old woman,a transplanted NYker living in SoCal. I am on long term disability as I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2006. Thanks to an interfueron drug, Avonex I am able to drive, walk and do all I need to, tho I do suffer from fatigue to a degree. I have worked since the age of 19 and even now supplement my disability as much as is permitted by doing research work at home for a local attorney, building his client base.

I would adore the chance to work for or with the White House, perhaps here in CA? Just a thought. I would GLADLY give up disability if there were something viable with your staff. My parents taught me long ago it never hurts to ask..so I am asking.
